Victoria te Velde

Dr Victoria te Velde has recently joined the Agulhas team.  She helps ensure we work as effectively as possible to apply our knowledge and respond to client's needs. 

Previously Victoria was Head of the Commonwealth Studies Unit, University of London. In this capacity she worked on a range of policies and issue affecting the 54 members of the Commonwealth. These ranged from governance and democracy, to consensus building around fisheries and forestry policies.  

Victoria has worked with clients such as DFID, FCO, AUSAID and the Commonwealth Secretariat, as well as partners in civil society organisations across the world.

She has written extensively on Commonwealth matters.   Her book “The Commonwealth Brand” was launched in December 2011.
