Agulhas works first and foremost to reduce our carbon emissions (to mitigate). We travel by public transport in the UK (train/tube/bus) and by train to continental Europe. Where we do have to take long haul flights we offset these, and all our carbon emissions through Pure, the Clean Planet Trust.  This is the first charity to offer carbon offset and meets the highest Kyoto Protocol standards. We use green electricity and gas and recycled products as far as possible. We also recycle as much of our waste as possible.

Agulhas is a member of the Global Reporting Initiative, the global multi stakeholder organisation working to improve reporting on economic, environmental and social issues so that this is as routine and comparable as financial reporting .
