Thought leadership paper for Barclays Corporate Social Responsibitliy initiative

Agulhas were invited to provide a thought leadership paper for Barcalys to provide the intellectual underpinning to their new corporate responsibility programme with UNICEF. The programme will support children and young adults around the world to lead better lives by empowering them through education, training and enhanced financial inclusion. The paper drew upon the analysis of Amartya Sen in his work `Development as Freedom' where he advanced the human capabilities approach. The Foreword to the paper was written by Simon Maxwell, Director ODI.
