Over the past decade, governance has moved to the heart of international thinking on sustainability. This includes strengthening policies and institutions, and promoting open, inclusive and accountable government. However, institutional development pathways vary extensively, and capacity-building approaches need to be tailored to each country context.
Agulhas has extensive experience in providing advice and analysis in support of institutional development. We specialise in national policy processes, monitoring systems and communication for development. We support programming in areas such as rule of law, anti-corruption, transparency and civil society development.
