Emma Photo 3Emma is an experienced leader and manager; of people, programmes and projects. She has an excellent track record, and a reputation for delivering quality outputs, established over fourteen years in the UK civil service and in consultancy. She has worked for both the UK Department for International Development and the Department of Health. Her recent consultancy clients include UN agencies, the World Bank, DFID, the Open Society Institute, the Center for Global Development and WaterAid America.

She offers particularly strong skills in strategic communications and planning, networking, partnership building, policy research and analysis.

She is also an experienced international negotiator. She has particular expertise in health and development policy issues, having worked for a range of clients in areas relating to health systems reform, drug policy, drug resistance, communicable and non-communicable disease, and also governance, capacity building and the environment (and, in particular, climate change).

Emma's country experience includes work in the UK, US, Ghana, South Africa and India.
