David has more than 15 years experience in delivering development assistance, in contexts as varied as Afghanistan and the South Pacific. Over this time he has built advanced skills in organisational development, in which he excels. He has particular strengths in working with individuals and teams to develop their potential, challenging and changing behaviours to improve effectiveness.
He has a deep understanding of the cultures of bureaucracies, the processes of behaviour change, as well as managing and embracing diversity and broader individual and team awareness. His competencies have enabled David to lead, manage and support change throughout his career.
He has worked with DFID, many NGOs, trade unions and faith groups.
He has particular experience in South Asia and South Africa.
