Time for action

The implications of climate change for sustainable development are now recognised. The Stern Review warned that climate change could have an impact on the world economy equivalent to a 5 to 20% drop in global consumption. The poorest countries will be hardest hit. For those that fail to adapt, achieving the MDGs could become a distant prospect.

Agulhas participated in the Stern Review, and is advising donors, companies and international agencies on the implications of climate change.  We are also assisting the University of Cambridge Programme for Industry on climate change issues. We are helping clients with their mitigation programmes and carbon offset choices. We are advising clients on adaptation challenges in developing countries, including advocacy and fund raising strategies.
