Catherine Cameron

Catherine is one of three Directors of Agulhas:Applied Knowledge. She leads the Agulhas practice in the areas of sustainability and climate change.  This includes policy development and analysis, innovating new tools and processes, standard development, impact assessment and behaviour change.  

Catherine leads teams working with a range of clients helping them understand and respond to climate disruption at both the policy and programme level, including developing the first adaptation standard and product and improving climate resilience in the supply chain. Her practice also includes promoting low carbon development and better understanding of what works in the international climate finance architecture.

Catherine is a Visiting Professor at Essex Business School, the University of Essex focusing on building business resilience through innovating for sustainability. She is also Visiting Fellow at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford supporting the Stranded Assets Programme. She has held a number of advisory and board positions including on the Advisory Board of the Sustainable Aviation consortium (including BA, BAE Systems, Rolls Royce & Virgin Atlantic). She is a Visiting Fellow at Anglia Ruskin University on the team looking at resource constraints in the near term. She chairs the Steering Group of the Global Resource Observatory at Anglia Ruskin University.
