Catherine works to promote sustainability, particularly on becoming more climate resilient and climate smart. This includes policy development and analysis, innovating new tools and processes, standard development, impact assessment and behaviour change.
She has particular expertise in climate change, having been a member of the core team on the Stern Review. She leads teams working with a range of clients helping them understand and respond to climate disruption at both the policy and programme level, including developing the first adaptation standard and product and improving climate resilience in the supply chain. Also promoting low carbon development and better understanding of what works in the international climate finance architecture.
Catherine is Visiting Fellow at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford and a Senior Associate of the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership. She has a number of advisory and board positions including on the Advisory Board of the Sustainable Aviation consortium (including BA, BAE, Rolls Royce & Virgin Atlantic) and on the Sustainability Council of Earth Capital Partners, an asset management company focused on sustainability. She chairs the Steering Group of the Global Resource Obervatory at Anglia Ruskin University and the Advisory Board of Acid Survivors Trust International
