With over 23 years experience Catherine is an experienced policy analyst, economist and evaluator.
Catherine specialises in climate change, having been a member of the core team that wrote the Stern Review. She has led teams delivering the response to climate change in policy, programmes and fundraising.
She is Chair of the charity Twin and its sister non-profit company Twin Trading, whose mission is to use trade to positively redress unequal relations between north and south. Twin is one of the founders and shareholders of a number of leading fair trade brands included Café Direct and Divine chocolate.
Catherine is a Senior Associate of the Cambridge University Programme for Sustainability Leadership. She works directly with a range of UK and multinational companies in helping them understand and respond to climate change. Catherine is on the Stakeholder Panel advising the Sustainable Aviation consortium on the challenging targets they have set themselves to reduce emissions. She has worked in over 40 countries in Africa, Central and Latin America, South Asia and the Caribbean.
